Shaw Pin Kuck

Profile: Shaw Pin is a distinguished expert in the fields of Treasury, Finance, and Risk, with a rich background spanning over 20 years in the banking sector. Before joining SAS, he spent 4 years in a large ASEAN bank where he headed Finance Change and was responsible in implementing Basel IV (MAS 637), Finance & Risk integrated solution, and ICAAP & IFRS9 initiatives. Prior to that, he had spent 18+ years in a global bank across Risk, Treasury & Finance functions. In this capacity, he played a crucial role in spearheading the development and execution of strategies and rolling out technological capabilities for Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk (IRR), and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) across the bank's global operations. Shaw Pin has now taken on a pivotal role at SAS as the Head of Risk in Customer Advisory. In this position, he is dedicated to leveraging his extensive experience in banking to deliver value, introduce best practices, and foster innovation across the ASEAN markets. Shaw Pin holds a Business degree with a major in Financial Analysis from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. He has obtained Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) charter in 2003 and also obtained PMP and CSM project management certifications.
